Ventura reacts, 50 Cent trolls.
And so it happened that yesterday (3), disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for prostitution crimes.
The defense had asked Judge Arun Subramanian for ‘time served’, and apparently Diddy’s camp was so optimistic he even had events scheduled for next week.
But the judge noted his violent behavior towards his victims, the ‘irreparable harm’ done to them, and decided to send him for prison for over 4 years.
Daily Mail reported:
“Judge Arun Subramanian handed down the sentence in a Manhattan courtroom on Friday and slapped the rapper with a fine of $500,000. Following his time in prison, the judge sentenced Combs to another five years of supervised release.”

As the news of Diddy’s sentencing spread, his most high-profile victim, Cassie Ventura, had her say through her attorney Douglas Wigdor.
Wigdor said the trial only took place thanks to Ventura’s courage in filing her civil complaint in 2023 that triggered the criminal investigation into Diddy.
“’Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,’ he said. ‘By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat – with no reservation – that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.
‘She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.“

In the meantime, rival rapper Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson took to social media to mercilessly troll Diddy.
New York Post reported:
“’Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagement. I heard he won’t be able to make it’, the Queens rapper wrote on X, adding a shrug emoji.
‘I’m available!’, Jackson said with a laughing emoji.”

“50 Cent had more jokes the day before the sentencing — posting an extended message to social media on Thursday addressed to the judge presiding over Combs’ case.
‘I have had an ongoing dispute with Puffy for over 20 years. He is very dangerous. Multiple times I have feared for my life’, the man who survived being shot 9 times in 2000, wrote to the judge on X. […] ‘Anyway, Diddy’s only going to return to hiring more male sex workers and keeping most of the baby oil away from the general public. And babies need it!’”
