The Trump administration is reportedly planning to dramatically cut the admission of refugees from around the world.
According to a report from Reuters, the White House is preparing to set a new admission cap of 7,500 refugees per fiscal year, with most of those spaces going to persecuted white South Africans.
The target is a drastic reduction in the 125,000 annual refugee admissions set by the Biden administration and would effectively end the issue of bogus asylum claims.
Although there are indeed many refugees around the world fleeing violence and persecution, millions of illegal aliens have taken advantage of America’s asylum policies.

Of the some 10 million illegals who were welcomed in by the Biden regime, around 800,000 of those applied for asylum on arrival.
By doing so, they were able to enter the country while their applications were being assessed, a process that could often take years.
While many of these people were fleeing repressive regimes such as Venezuela and Nicaragua, individuals lose their refugee status once they enter a safe country of passage.
Democrats are predictably seething about the move.
In a joint statement, Senators Dick Durbin of Illinois and Alex Padilla of California accused Trump of “betraying” American values.
“Despite repeated outreach from Democratic and Republican committee staff, the Trump administration has completely discarded its legal obligation, leaving Congress in the dark and refugees in limbo,” they said in a statement.
“The consequences are dire,” they continued, accusing Trump of “betraying the nation’s promise as a refuge for the oppressed.”
Leftists are particularly upset that Trump is providing refuge for white South Africans, known as Afrikaners, on the basis that they are both white and Christian.

Back in April, Trump signed an executive order establishing a special exemption specifically for Afrikaners.
During an Oval Office meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in May, Trump made him watch a video of the genocide taking place against the country’s white farmers.

The first group of 59 Afrikaner refugees arrived later that month, resettling in New York, Alabama, and North Carolina, among other states.
According to government data, an additional 138 have since entered the United States under the new policy.
