Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, unleashed a fiery takedown of actress Julia Fox after she donned a blood-soaked costume mimicking his late grandmother on the day of President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination.
Fox’s ensemble replicated Jackie O’s iconic pink tweed skirt suit, complete with a matching pillbox hat and navy handbag. It was drenched in fake blood, as it was after the infamous murder in Dallas.
The 35-year-old Uncut Gems star shared the costume on Instagram, framing it as a “statement” rather than a mere costume.
Fox wore the costume to an event filled with degeneracy and drag queens and was filmed groping what appeared to be a man wearing a latex bust featuring three breasts.
In her caption, Fox highlighted Jackie’s decision to stay in her bloodied clothes as an act of “bravery and resistance.” However, many saw it as tasteless exploitation of a national tragedy.
Fox wrote:
I’m dressed as Jackie Kennedy in the pink suit. Not as a costume, but as a statement. When her husband was assassinated, she refused to change out of her blood-stained clothes, saying, ‘I want them to see what they’ve done.’ The image of the delicate pink suit splattered with blood is one of the most haunting juxtapositions in modern history. Beauty and horror. Poise and devastation.
Her decision not to change clothes, even after being encouraged to, was an act of extraordinary bravery. It was performance, protest, and mourning all at once. At least one member of the Kennedy family was unamused.
“Julia Fox glorifying political violence is disgusting, desperate and dangerous,” Schlossberg, 32, the grandson of JFK and Jackie O and Vogue’s new political correspondent, wrote on X.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis passed away in 1994 at age 64 from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Fox, who is largely irrelevant these days, has yet to respond to the backlash.
