Biden Sent $60,000 to U.K. For Pride Events — Trump Made $5 Billion in Trade Wins

While former President Biden sent over $60,000 of U.S. taxpayer money to fund Pride festivals in the United Kingdom, President Donald Trump has redirected America’s relationship with London toward trade, jobs, and growth.

Biden’s administration issued multiple State Department grants for “inclusion initiatives” — including $25,000 to a group offering legal aid to LGBTQ asylum seekers, $15,000 for a pride-themed concert, and $20,000 for diversity events across the United Kingdom.

The goal, officials claimed, was to promote “social awareness.”

The result was taxpayer dollars funneled overseas for ideological causes that created no jobs and strengthened no U.S. industries.

The contrast with Trump could not be sharper. President Donald Trump’s new “Economic Prosperity Deal” with the U.K. is rooted in economic self-interest, not virtue signaling.

The deal unlocks $5 billion in fresh export opportunities for American producers across agriculture, manufacturing, energy, and technology—the industries that keep the U.S. working.

American farmers are among the biggest winners. In exchange for easing tariffs on up to 100,000 British vehicles, the U.K. has abolished its 19% ethanol tax and opened its markets to 1.4 billion liters of U.S. ethanol—a move expected to generate $700 million in new exports.

Ranchers in Texas, Nebraska, and Kansas will also gain $250 million in beef and farm exports, while dairy and poultry producers receive expanded access under new agricultural guidelines.

After years of protectionist barriers disguised as “health standards,” American agriculture is finally being treated as a reliable trade partner rather than an afterthought.

The aerospace and chemical industries also benefit. Rolls-Royce engines vital to Boeing aircraft will now move across the Atlantic without tariffs, securing tens of thousands of U.S. jobs tied to the aviation supply chain.

Meanwhile, chemical manufacturers in Texas and Louisiana—long constrained by European Union regulations—will gain easier access to British markets. Trump’s trade model rewards innovation and production, not political symbolism.

The numbers tell the story: under Biden, U.S.-U.K. relations revolved around $60,000 for social events.

Under Trump, they revolve around $5 billion in exports, $700 million in ethanol, and tens of thousands of American jobs.

This deal doesn’t just improve trade—it restores credibility to U.S. diplomacy by proving that partnerships should serve the American worker, not foreign ideology.

Once again, Trump has replaced empty gestures with measurable results.

America’s allies respect strength and fairness—not lectures and handouts—and this agreement shows exactly how a serious president puts national interest first.
