Palantir CEO Blasts Ivy League Mamdani Voters: ‘Annoyed Their Education is Not That Valuable’ (VIDEO)

Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir – Screencap of Twitter/X video.

Zohran Mamdani has tried to portray himself as some sort of hero to the working class, but that is completely false.

His biggest base of support came from highly educated, mostly young, mostly white, Brooklyn hipster types who went to all of the best schools, just like Mamdani himself.

Alex Karp, the CEO of Palantir, recently blasted these voters saying that their vote was driven in part by resentment.

From the Independent Journal Review:

Palantir CEO Criticizes Ivy League Support for NYC Mayor Mamdani

Palantir CEO Alex Karp criticized Ivy League graduates for backing New York City’s newly elected Mayor Zohran Mamdani, questioning the value of elite education compared to practical skills.

According to FOX Business, while speaking on The Axios Show, Karp said, “I think the average Ivy League grad voting for this mayor is highly annoyed that their education is not that valuable.”

He added, “And the person down the street who knows how to drill for oil and gas, who’s moved to Texas, has a more valuable profession. And I think that annoys the f— out of these people.”

Here’s the video:

Third Way confirms this:

Mamdani relied on a highly educated, high-income electorate to win, but Democrats need to make inroads with working-class voters: Early estimates show that Mamdani won 55% of college-educated voters and 38% of working-class voters. Democrats have maxed out with college-educated voters and hemorrhaged working-class voters cycle after cycle. Fifty-eight percent of working-class voters now say the Democratic Party has moved too far left, and just 34% say that Democrats are in touch with the working class. Moving toward the Mamdani-DSA politics would make this bad situation dramatically worse.

This was even indicated in polling before the election:

Luxury beliefs in action:

In other words, the people who believe they are the smartest people in the room supported Mamdani. Well, they are about to get another type of education, this time in basic economics.
