We’ve seen this movie before: November comes, and Russian forces unleash massive drone and missile strikes targeting the power generation and infrastructure, leading Ukraine to live in darkness and the cold.

All state-owned thermal power plants in Ukraine have been stopped, electricity generation is absent.

Both Ukrenergo and Centrenergo (‘zero generation’) have reported catastrophic damage.
Ukraine is currently in the worst state energy-wise of the entire special military operation.

But since major blackouts also happened a year ago, many ask themselves why Russians take the Ukrainian energy grid to the limit but do not completely obliterate it.

The most Powerful and guarded Thermal Power Plant near Kiev was destroyed.
