Steve Bannon interviews Joel Gilbert on Eric Swalwell’s latest troubles on the War Room.

Joel Gilbert joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss his latest investigative report on Rep. Eric Swalwell posted at The Gateway Pundit on Friday.

Joel reveals the scandals following Swalwell from the beginning of his career, from his alleged ties to the Chinese spy “Fang Fang” to his removal from the House Intelligence Committee over national security concerns, to his infamous on-air mishap during a 2019 interview on Hardball with Chris Matthews.

According to Joel Gilbert, Eric Swalwell’s public scandals didn’t come out of thin air. They were foreshadowed in his comedic and confused 2010 “Summary Dissolution” public divorce agreement with his first wife, Melissa Jane Maranda.

Steve Bannon opened the segment discussing the Israel-US relationship. Then Steve asked Joel about his latest deep dive into Rep. Swalwell’s chaotic life.

Joel revealed that Swalwell has only one home – in Washington DC. He does not own property in California, the state he represents, which is unconstitutional!

From the transcript:

Steve Bannon:  So the President, the Justice Department, and others are going after Swalwell, just like Tish James and others, they have these fraudulent mortgages and fraudulent bank statements and defrauding banks for lower interest rates. And he’s making a case. He’s President’s number one enemy, and they’re coming after him. We said yesterday on the show with Mike Davis, I had Natalie was sitting as a co-host yesterday.

Why are we not going after Fang-Fang? I mean, the bigger problem with Swalwell is not his mortgage. That’s, I’m sure, something that people get to the bottom of. But that he was open information to the Chinese Communist Party. He was honeypotted. You’ve done some research on all of this. What do you got? You got a brilliant article up on Gateway Pundit. What do you got, sir?

Joel Gilbert:   Well, don’t forget, Dianne Feinstein was also penetrated by the Chinese intelligence for many years, and not much really happened. Look, Swalwell, we took a look at his mortgage. He bought and purchased a home in Washington, DC that he declared as his principal residence while not having any verifiable address in California.

According to the US Constitution, you have to be an inhabitant of the state that you represent. According to California law code 349, you actually have to have a physical address and live there.

Swawell has big financial problems. I looked at his financial disclosure since 2011 when he entered Congress. He still has not paid off his student loans. He still has the same debt to American Express, Chase Bank.

He’s a financial disaster. That might be why he can’t maintain a home in California like he’s supposed to. In today’s article, I wrote about how in his 2010 divorce, him and his wife were exchanging and bickering over can openers and salad tossers and plates, clearly because he didn’t have any money.

So even though he’s made $174,000 a year in Congress, he’s never paid off any debt. So that makes the whole Chinese spying, Fang-Fang, thing of more concern.

Where is this guy’s money going? And why can’t he pay off debts? And why can’t he maintain a home in California?
