On Friday, President Trump stripped Biden of his security clearance and stopped his daily classified intelligence briefings.
Trump said that Biden “set this precedent in 2021” when he ordered the intelligence community to stop him from accessing details on national security, a courtesy extended to former presidents.
Joe Biden told CBS News in 2021 that Trump couldn’t be trusted with classified briefings.
“I’d rather not speculate out loud,” Biden said in February 2021. “I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings. What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”
President Trump cited the Robert Hur report as one of the many reasons why he decided to pull Biden’s clearance.
“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings. He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents. The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from “poor memory” and, even in his “prime,” could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump said on Truth Social on Friday evening.

Biden also stored highly classified documents in dilapidated boxes in his Delaware garage, which his son Hunter was able to access.
Joe Biden stripped Trump of his security clearance and waived his claims of executive privilege to instigate an investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents.
Biden hatched a plot to have Trump, his main political opponent, indicted and raided.
According to memos reviewed by investigative reporter John Solomon, the Biden White House instigated the criminal investigation by eliminating Trump’s claims to executive privilege.
The decision to waive Trump’s executive privilege opened the door for the DOJ to issue Trump a subpoena to turn over documents stored at Mar-a-Lago.
The subpoena ultimately led to the raid on Trump’s Florida residence, where the FBI retrieved 15 boxes of records.
According to John Solomon, within two weeks of NARA archivist Debra Steidel Wall’s letter to Trump’s lawyers, the DOJ sent a grand jury subpoena to Trump’s counsel demanding he return documents stored at Mar-a-Lago.
Shortly after Trump was subpoenaed, the feds showed up to Mar-a-Lago and retrieved some documents and told the former president to put an extra lock on the storage locker.
Two months later, machine gun-toting FBI agents descended on Mar-a-Lago and rummaged through Trump’s belongings without allowing any of his lawyers in the area.
Even though he hatched a plot to have Trump’s residence raided, Biden’s spokeswoman repeatedly claimed Joe Biden had no knowledge of the raid and that he found out about it in the media.
