White house Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not take kindly to a nasty Democrat congressman mocking her Christian beliefs and gave a perfect response that illustrates her true character.
Less than two weeks ago, Rep. Dave Min (D-CA) was angered by a comment Leavitt made regarding false reports that President Trump rescinded a federal finding freeze back on January 29. Leavitt corrected the ‘reporting’ from corporate media talking heads to point out that this was a recission of the OMB memo to end any confusion created by a court’s injunction and the freeze remained in effect.
Min, though, accused Leavitt of being a liar and cruelly mocked her faith in Christ.
“Thou shalt not bear false witness,” Min wrote on X. “Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is a fake Christian, like so many in the Golden Calf Administration.”

During an interview with the New York Post on Saturday, Leavitt swatted aside Min’s vile post with disdain.
“I think it’s pitiful for an elected member of Congress to say that about a woman who he’s never even met,” she told The Post Saturday.
Leavitt went to beautifully and unapologetically articulate how important her faith was to her, putting Min to further shame.
“My Christian faith is a huge part of my life,” she told The Post. “My faith, my marriage, my family life — it’s everything to me.”
Leavitt’s combination of both fierceness and grace is a brilliant way to respond to nasty bully. It’s also a bit of departure from how she generally handles her and Trump’s haters.
One can imagine Leavitt’s boss, though, would have taken a more in-your-face but equally effective approach to Min.
