The search for missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 has resumed 11 years after the plane went mysteriously missing.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 was an international flight with 239 passengers that took off from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was en route to Beijing, China, but tragically disappeared from all radar systems on March 8, 2014.

On Tuesday, Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that exploration firm Ocean Infinity will conduct a new search for the missing airline.

Loke shared that he’s “confident that the current search area is more credible, as they have previously covered a large area and believe this is the area that was missed in past searches.”

He added, “They are confident this area will yield a positive result, and they are ready to take the risk and resume the search.”

Per The Guardian:

A new search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has been launched more than a decade after the plane went missing in one of aviation’s greatest enduring mysteries.

Maritime exploration firm Ocean Infinity has resumed the hunt for the missing plane, Malaysian transport minister Anthony Loke said on Tuesday.

Loke told reporters the contract details between Malaysia and the firm were still being finalised but welcomed “the proactiveness of Ocean Infinity to deploy their ships” to begin the search for the plane, which went missing in March 2014.

Details about how long the search would last had not been negotiated yet, he said. He also did not provide details about when exactly the British firm had restarted its hunt.

Marine Traffic reported, ARMADA 7806 has already been tracked “operating in the south Indian Ocean as of 23 February.”

The search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 has resumed after 11 years, with Ocean Infinity deploying ARMADA 7806 to a new search area of 15,000 sq km.
