Another Macron Plan Goes Down the Drain: 30-Day Ukraine Cease-Fire Fails To Gain Any Traction – UK Distances Itself, Italy Calls It ‘Premature’

Macron, the man with the (failed) plan.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, yet another one of Emmanuel Macron’s ‘genius plans’ has fallen apart.

The unpopular French President, never able to solve his own domestic problems, is always eager to solve other people crises.

This time, he floated yet another click-bait proposal that earned no support, not even from his own fellow Euro-Globalists.

During the pro-Ukraine summit at Lancaster House on Sunday, Macron raised the idea of a one-month ceasefire in the air and sea, aiming to ‘pave the way for more substantial peace talks between Ukraine and Russia’.

There was little to no appetite to discuss the strategy amongst the 18 other Western leaders involved in the talks.

“’The Macron ceasefire was very much a Macron plan’, an official who was briefed on the discussions told The Telegraph.

The French president is well known for floating ideas for which he has often failed to secure backing.”

Another failed pla by Macron to help Ukraine’s Zelensky.

Even the host of the plan steered clear of the scheme.

The Week reported:

“While Starmer wanted to move forward with the peace plan ‘with momentum’. UK officials said that the one-month truce was not ‘a UK plan’.

‘There are various options on the table, subject to further discussions with the US and European partners, but a one-month truce has not been agreed’, said a UK official.

They worry that any pause in the war would allow the ‘Russians time to regroup, re-arm and reinvade’.”

Giorgia Meloni’s Italy also dismissed the plan.

And the cracks keep showing in the unpopular g4roup of Globalist leaders that Keir Starmer called the ‘coalition of the willing’.

The Telegraph reported:

“Italy partially rejected Emmanuel Macron’s proposal for a one-month truce in Ukraine, saying that the plans were ‘premature’.

‘I believe that everything must be done together, Europe and United States, sitting at a table with Ukraine and Russia to reach a fair and especially a long-lasting peace’, Antonio Tajani, Italy’s foreign minister, said on Monday.

‘Therefore, it is still premature to see what to do, how to do it’, he added.”
