Joseph Knowles, a Michigan autoworker, attended President Trump’s address to Congress on Tuesday night as a guest of the President.
The lifelong Democrat revealed that the childish antics of Democrats during Trump’s speech underscored why he “made a damn good choice” by switching to the Republican party.
Democrats embarrassed themselves on the world stage by refusing to stand to honor a pediatric cancer survivor or the mother of a child raped and murdered by illegals.
They color-coded themselves in pink and held up signs with “protest” signs.
Unhinged Representative Al Green (D-TX) threw a tantrum and screamed at the President to disrupt a speech meant to unify the nation.
The disgraceful outburst forced Speaker Mike Johnson to intervene, ordering the Sergeant-at-Arms to kick Green out of the chamber like the disgrace he’s proven himself to be.
The disgusting and disrespectful behavior underscored why Knowles moved away from Democrats.
Knowles told Fox News’ America Reports, “I’m very disappointed in the Democrats on how they handled things.”
“And you know what? I feel like I made a damn good choice of not voting for them anymore, and I’m very proud of how Donald Trump handled it.”
Knowles shared some of the reasons why he moved to the Republican Party.
“[Democrats] said their agenda was for the working people, but that’s not the case. They’re out-of-touch, and I can no longer support an organization or a political party like that.”
As for the “out-of-touch” Dems who refused to honor ordinary Americans, Knowles added, “You know what? That just shows you how out-of-touch they are. Because this doesn’t matter if you are Republican or Democrat, or Black and White — doesn’t matter.”
He added, “These are human lives. Each one of them had lost someone… You know, these are the people that you said that you protect and sworn in for, but you couldn’t stand up for them. You put up signs and you highlight your interests, but these people had lost someone.”
Asked whether he could ever go back to Democrats, Knowles was firm.
“I got very good hope for the Republican Party. I mean, more and more people are seeing the true colors of the Democrats. And it took me, I’m sorry, 20 years to see that, and I woke up. I’m very confident the American people will wake up too.”
“I’m gone forever. I’ve seen enough, and this — what I saw — this isn’t brand new. This has been going on for a long time.”
“What the TV has shown and what the world has seen, is this is how they always have handled situations like this.”
“They put their agenda first, and that’s all they care about.”
