The O’Keefe Media Group on Thursday released a recording of Florida University Tech President John Nicklow admitting to changing the language of the DEI courses to bypass a Desantis-backed DEI ban in order to secure millions of dollars in taxpayer funding.
On Wednesday, O’Keefe received a cease and desist letter from the Florida University president threatening him not to publish his recording.
“A Florida University President has sent me a CEASE AND DESIST LETTER to stop OMG from publishing a covert recording of the University President being duplicitous, in a conference room, while talking to staff and professors,” James O’Keefe said earlier Wednesday.

On Thursday morning James O’Keefe published the recording of John Nicklow admitting to ‘tweaking the language’ of the DEI courses in order to secure taxpayer money.
“They [the Government] are not smart people… They are simply searching, whatever comes back on [the] web, searching without understanding,” Nicklow said.
“If it then hits NSF [National Science Foundation], we lose millions of dollars,” Nicklow said. “We are seeing specific projects being pulled… because they had the words in executive summary of ‘climate change.’”
“If you word it as surveillance and defense, it will probably get funded,” he added.
Nicklow reassured the teachers that they wouldn’t get fired for teaching the DEI courses.
