Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina has said that Democrats have a winning message but that mainstream media is biased against them.
In an appearance on MSNBC, Clyburn explained that Democrats main problem is that they are unable to share their winning message with the rest of the country because the mainstream media is unwilling to amplify it.
He explained.
I think the message that’s coming from the Democratic Party is a good message. The problem we’ve got, honestly, is that we have to depend upon the media to deliver it.
If we have The Washington Post, for instance, caving to this wannabe dictator, and we’ve got other media entities that seem to rather push a narrative that will bring eyes to their newspapers or to their television sets and not really give a fair hearing or reporting to what we’re doing.
I have to rely upon people like [MSNBC]. You do a great job of this. That’s why I like coming on your shows on the weekends, because you do real, good, substantive reporting of what the issues are around us.
But when you’ve got people saying we’re not going to fact-check, we’re not going to worry about whether or not you’re telling the truth and just let the reports go out there. That’s what’s killing us as Democrats, because we don’t have a stomach for just lying.

Clyburn’s comments can only be described as gaslighting.
As anyone who has been alive for the past 10 years will known, the vast majority of mainstream media networks and news outlets are actually propaganda outlets for the Democratic Party, all while hiding behind the mask of “impartial, fact-based journalism.”
While it is true that The Washington Post is no longer as antagonistic towards Trump as it used to be, this is merely a reflection of the fact that Jeff Bezos does not want to upset the president so he can maintain his support for his various projects.
Clyburn, meanwhile, is known for making ludicrous comments.
Shortly before Joe Biden left office, he described the former president as one of the greatest presidents in American history.
“I think that he will go down as one of the greatest presidents we ever had,” he said when asked about Biden’s legacy. “I think the same thing about Jimmy Carter, who we just funeralized.”
