The Trump Administration continues to drain the Deep State rot deep from within the government.
As Fox News reported, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Tuesday fired the top two officials on the National Intelligence Council, after whistleblowers revealed they were “radically opposed” to President Trump. The two officials in question are Mike Collins, who was serving as the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof.
Trump officials told Fox News that Collins has several whistleblower complaints against him for anti-Trump bias and undermining the Trump administration. Moreover, Collins has close ties with former CIA Deputy Director and “Spies Who Lie” leader Michael Morrell.
As TGP readers know, Morrell organized a letter along with 51 other former spooks claiming that Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” He did this to give Joe Biden a “talking point” ahead of a debate against Trump.
Trump officials explained Langan-Reikhof was terminated because she had been a “key advocate” for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. She also exhibited several signs of bias against Trump.
In addition to firing these two individuals, Fox News reveals that Gabbard is moving the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to “directly hold accountable any improper action and politicization of intelligence.
Gabbard’s latest move comes less than one month after she criminally referred three intelligence officials to the Justice Department for leaking to The New York Times and the Washington Post.
“Politicization of our intelligence and leaking classified information puts our nation’s security at risk and must end,” Gabbard told Fox News at the time. “Those who leak classified information will be found and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
An ODNI official also told Fox News at the time that they were “aggressively investigating other leaks.”
In addition to Gabbard’s decisive actions, DHS Chief Kristi Noem identified two leakers within the Department of Homeland Security last month and announced that they faced up to 10 years in prison.
Three key aides to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have also been terminated for leaking to the corporate media.
Two of the fired aides reportedly plan to sue for “wrongful termination.”
