ICE agents detained more than 100 illegals during an immigration raid at a Tallahassee, Florida, construction site on Thursday.
“U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigation served multiple search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation in the Tallahassee region,” ICE said in a statement to local media.
Some of the illegals fled before ICE agents were able to detain them.
“The illegal aliens are from Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Colombia & Honduras, to name a few,” Homeland Security Investigations Tampa said on X.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported:
Homeland Security Investigations (which is under ICE), along with the Florida Highway Patrol and other Florida and federal law enforcement agencies, conducted immigration raids on Thursday, May 29 in Tallahassee.
More than 100 people were detained at a student housing development construction site described as “a short walk from Doak Campbell Stadium” in the CollegeTown area.
Officers reportedly checked every individual’s identification and permits before releasing or detaining them.
A worker from a nearby building site said his construction site had been raided an hour earlier, with people fleeing and some caught.
The illegal aliens were rounded up at a construction site near Florida State University’s campus.
