(VIDEO) House Speaker Mike Johnson Tells TGP House Democrats’ Incitement of Riots is “Beneath Any Member of Congress” – Floats Censures

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Monday told The Gateway Pundit that the House of Representatives may move to censure members of Congress who are inciting anti-ICE riots and violence from so-called protesters.

About 500 US Marines have been mobilized in response to the violent Los Angeles riots, the Gateway Pundit reported.

This comes after thousands of illegal aliens and leftist rioters were lighting cars on fire in the city, attacking law enforcement, destroying police cars, and hurling explosives at an ICE facility.

Several members of the House have taken to leftist news outlets or to the streets to fuel the ongoing riots and incite violence as Los Angeles faces these destructive mobs of illegal aliens and paid protesters.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Maxine Waters (D-CA) on Sunday taunted National Guard troops who were called in to quell the riots in LA, accusing them of trying to “shoot some kids” and daring them to shoot her.

Rep. Nanette Barragán (D-CA) also claimed that the riots are “peaceful” and claimed they are being targeted by the President, fueling more angst against ICE and the Trump administration.

In the Senate, Democrat Chris Murphy has called for nationwide insurrection. “obviously, this is a moment where we have to be on the streets all over the country to protest what’s happening to our immigrant community, but more broadly, to protest what’s happening to our democracy,” he said with regard to the duly elected President following through on his campaign promise to deport illegal aliens.

Johnson says their behavior is “beneath any member of Congress,” and “There’ll be a lot of discussion about” consequences for the Democrats who incite insurrection. He floated censures while rebuking the Democrats’ support for criminal alien gang members.

Still, based on Congress’s response to New Jersey Democratic Reps. LaMonica McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Rob Menendez, who have not been censured or invesitgated by the Ethics Committee, storming an ICE facility last monthm it does not appear we will see consequences anytime soon.

These people should all be arrested for inciting uprisings across the nation. It’s called Sedition.

WATCH:

Conradson: A lot of people want to know, are we’re going to see consequences for these Democratic lawmakers who are inciting riots and violence in California and calling for insurrections across the nation?

Johnson: Yeah, it’s a real concern. It’s beneath any member of Congress. We should be supporting the rule of law and obviously upholding federal law. That’s what’s being flouted in California, and it’s a shame. With regard to what the consequences are, not sure yet. There’ll be a lot of discussion about that. I mean, Congress has limited power to control our own. I mean, there are censures and those types of activities. But in the meantime, I would just encourage my colleagues to think, think very seriously, think very hard about that. The Democrats are making a terrible political calculation.

They are on the side of law breakers. They are on the side of illegal aliens. They are on the side of, in some cases, MS-13 members and people who have abused their spouses. I mean, they’re on the wrong side of this. The American people do not want violent criminals from other countries illegally in the US. And this is a very common sense position that we’ve taken, and the Republican Party is standing for the deportation of these dangerous people. ICE is involved in that. It is their job to do so, and they are following the will of the country. The people don’t want dangerous people here. This is the easiest question that should be able to answer, but they don’t.
