Another Reporter Blows Up Corporate Media’s Phony D.C. Crime Spin with His Personal Experience (VIDEO)

The corporate media’s carefully crafted fairy tale about crime being “under control” in Washington, DC, just took another massive hit.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that ABC News anchor Kyra Phillips went off-script and dropped a truth bomb on her viewers, shattering the media’s and Democrats’ “crime is down” propaganda.

Her revelations came mere hours after President Donald Trump invoked Section 740 of the DC Home Rule Act to seize direct federal control over the Metropolitan Police Department, authorizing the Secretary of Defense to deploy National Guard troops to the nation’s capital.

Phillips: “I can tell you firsthand here in Downtown D.C., where we work, right here around our bureau, just in the past 6 months, there were two people shot. One person died literally two blocks away.

It was within the last two months that I actually was jumped while walking just two blocks down from here.

This morning, one of my co-workers said her car was stolen just a block away from the bureau.

So, we can talk about the numbers going down, but crime is happening every single day because we’re all experiencing it firsthand while working and living here.”

And Phillips wasn’t alone. Over at MSNBC, Anthony Coley also tore through the false narrative.

Coley: “I live in Washington. This is personal for me. Many people are frustrated with crime that we see, particularly committed by juveniles in the city of Washington. People are frustrated, Willy, that when they go to CVS to buy deodorant, they have to get it from behind locked plexiglass. But the response here—and let me say this—these are not just random. What we see in Washington Post polling, among others, is that roughly half of D.C. residents—mostly half of D.C.—view this as a serious problem or an extremely serious problem.”
