Secret Service Agent Who Said Charlie Kirk Deserved to be Assassinated to Be Fired

The Secret Service Agent who said Charlie Kirk deserved to be assassinated will be fired soon.

TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, 31, was brutally murdered in broad daylight last Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University. The assassin, Tyler Robinson, climbed up onto a roof and shot Charlie Kirk from an elevated position.

Secret Service Agent Anthony Pough said Charlie Kirk, a Christian husband and father to two young children, deserved to be murdered in cold blood.

“If you are Mourning this guy… delete me. He spewed hate and racism on his show,” Anthony Pough wrote.

“You can’t circumvent karma, [sic] she doesnt [sic] leave,” he said.

“The Secret Service agent’s post is circulating in the Secret Service community with some agents upset over his sentiments because he appears to be celebrating the death of a political figure, and one whom the president is honoring with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and has often had by his side at events over the last several years,” RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree said last week.

“If that’s all it takes to set you off, that’s dangerous to have around,” one source in the Secret Service community told RCPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree.

Secret Service agent Anthony Pough comment on Charlie Kirk

RCP reporter Susan Crabtree reported on Tuesday said that there are plans to fire the Secret Service agent who said Kirk deserved to be murdered.

“A Secret Service spokesperson has reaffirmed to me that agency leaders have indeed placed Pough on administrative leave, although the spokesperson declined to say whether it was unpaid or paid leave and whether his security clearance was also suspended. I.E. expect that Pough is also on a paid vacation with his secruity clearance intact until an investigation takes place,” Susan Crabtree said.

“A separate source in the Secret Service community tells me that Pough will indeed be fired because he remains in the probationary period before an agent attains “career status.” Pough became an agent in 2022. Probation lasts 3 years and 120 days,” she said.

STORY UPDATE: Secret Service reaffirms that agent who gloated about Kirk’s assassination is on admin leave. Other sources tell me there are plans to fire him.

Rumors have swirled over the last few days that the @SecretService wasn’t actually disciplining and eventually firing… https://t.co/ZZuYZDMgBN
