Trump banned Sadiq Khan, Islamist mayor of London, from the Royal Banquet
Tensions between former U.S. President Donald Trump and London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan have escalated once again. In recent remarks, Trump confirmed that he personally requested Khan be excluded from the Royal Banquet, one of the United Kingdom’s most symbolic diplomatic events. The former president was blunt: “I didn’t want him there. I never liked him. I asked that he not attend.”
Trump described Khan as one of the worst mayors in the Western world, comparing him to some of the most criticized city leaders in the United States.
