Rand Paul Responds to President Trump’s Invite to White House Picnic

Rand Paul will be going to the White House picnic this evening after being disinvited over his opposition to Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.

Senator Paul has repeatedly criticized Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill because the president wants to raise the debt ceiling.

On Wednesday, in remarks to reporters, Senator Rand Paul said he was disinvited from the White House picnic.

The Kentucky Senator called it “petty vindictiveness’ in remarks to CNN’s Manu Raju and other reporters on Wednesday.

Rand Paul said he was not given a reason and wasn’t sure if the call came down from President Trump.

On Thursday morning President Trump said Rand Paul is invited to the “Big White House Party tonight.”

“Of course Senator Rand Paul and his beautiful wife and family are invited to the BIG White House Party tonight. He’s the toughest vote in the history of the U.S. Senate, but why wouldn’t he be? Besides, it gives me more time to get his Vote on the Great, Big, Beautiful Bill, one of the greatest and most important pieces of legislation ever put before our Senators & Congressmen/women. It will help to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! I look forward to seeing Rand. The Party will be Great!” Trump said on Truth Social on Thursday morning.

Rand Paul responded to President Trump later Thursday morning and hinted he is ready to get on board with Trump’s reconciliation bill.
